 Once upon a time, ​
​​I had a rather glamorous career at 
​Vogue and GQ, ​followed by years of freelance
fashion and retail event production.  
Hardly the conventional route to becoming a chef.

​But all the while the signs were there that cooking was
one of the great pleasures of my life, none more telling ​than being as
excited to ​create elaborate dinners for friends as I was 
feeding my
voracious kids and their ​teammates after games.

Cooking just straight up made me happy.

​And so a scheme was hatched to make it official, ​albeit a 
little later in life than most - time to dive headlong into the culinary 
world ​and do this. ​Fast forward to today, I am classically trained and hold a degree
in Culinary Arts from the International Culinary Center in New York City
[formerly the French Culinary Institute]. I am delighted to finally
be doing what I truly love: bringing family and friends
 ​​together over food.
